Photos of the Day – Tokyu Plaza Ginza

Ginza is a famous shopping town in Tokyo.  The most popular place is the Chuo Street where there are many department stores and brand shops.  Another popular area is the western part of Ginza called Sukiyabashi.  There is a traffic crossing where you can find a tiny cute-looking police station among tall buildings.

At the other end of the crossing, there is a shopping complex, Tokyu Plaza Ginza.  It used to be a department store until a few years ago which was closed down and renovated into a new shopping place.

The seventh floor is “Find Japan Market” floor where there are many shops that sell Japanese souvenirs – stationery, bags, handkerchieves, acceceries, etc.  The design of the floor itself is stylish and beautiful.
