Autumn Foliage in Tokyo (1)

December is the begining of the winter but early December is the best timing to enjoy autumn colors in Tokyo.  Koishikawa Botanical Gardens has many maple trees.

Under the cold weather, I found a lovely tiny flower of kan hi zakura or winter cherry blossoms.

The garden has many different faces and you can enjoy whichever season you visit.  Here is my posting in May.

At this time, the garden is full of autumn and winter plants.
