Former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s family is a politicians family. His grandfather also served as Prime Minister. His father and brother served as Ministers. Naturally, his residence witnessed post-war Japanese politics which is now a memorial. This classical western-style architecture is famous for its stained glasses and a rose garden.
Harajuku Station of Yamanote Line in Tokyo is the oldest station made of wood. Looks cute, doesn’t it? Nowadays, many oversea visitors come here to visit Takeshita Dori Avenue which is a popular shopping street with Tokyo fashion, foods and various goods.
I wrote about Antiquarian Bookshops in Jimbocho in July this year. Jimbocho is a town of bookshops and they hold annual book fair at the end of October. This year’s festival already began and it will end next Sunday.
